People are going in on Serena now because of how her face looks from whatever surgery she had, but I don't remember any brothers doing her like that years back.

Venus has pretty much been an afterthought ever since she retired.


Divestors and swirlers are trying to push a false narrative because brothers have been calling out the hypocrisy about the double-standard regarding interracial relationships.

This is facts. I've always said Serena got a lot of horse in the face, but I've felt like I was the only one that thought like that. Venus looks better than Serena, but she's not particularly cute. We not going to act like they are considered ugly among all black men when we know for a fact that Serena had black celebrities chasing her.

Also, it's not their "Afrocentric" features that make them unnattractive. Whatever that means.

yeah I recall a bunch of black dudes back in the day being a fan of Serena

especially around the time she wore that black body suit on the tennis court

if I remember she was also on the cover of a couple black men's magazines back in the day too on some beauty icon tip

But you look at Serena who was publicly attached to Common and Drake and I'm sure other black men who weren't maybe as public, so I can't agree that there were no black men who didn't find her attractive

This is more accurate. Yes Serena's curves were celebrated but there were some, both men and women, that thought she was too muscular looking and didn't think her actual face was attractive and the surgeries didn't help with that over the years. There was never really one side going harder than the other.

Since when is thinking her face is busted or not liking muscular chicks a bad thing? It wasn't universal among black men, and I'm sure more than a few white men would say the same thing. The Williams sisters got with white men because that's what they wanted. I don't see why people are searching for a reason to give them a pass when that's never done for black male athletes.

In Serena's case, her relatively muscular build may have played a role too. But yes, I think she's too black for many black men. 100%.
