It's completely subjective to the viewer. I like this season. Seems like alot of people are getting crushed under the weight of their expectations instead of just enjoying the final ride. 🤷🏿‍♂️

I've never taken this show that serious that I need certain questions answered or plot holes filled. Its a cool show about kids and monsters lol. It was always just an ode to different films and the 80s to me. Nothing more nothing less. 🤷🏿‍♂️

Exactly, this is literally how I feel about Stranger Things. Its not a generational show by any means, no one (unless you have shit taste) is gonna have this in their top shows all-time list.

Its definitely top 20 all time for me lol. Its just not that deep.

I just wish they could have knocked the seasons out closer, and had the full story in mine at the inception.

The two things that hurt this franchise the most imo is the kids aging up, and the later parts not sliding in well with the earlier stuff.

We've definitely seen worse.

Yeah, it’s pretty much what it has always been but it’s less about kids fighting monsters as it is about childhood trauma and feeeeeeeelings.

Like there is something metaphorical going on with the fact that Jonathan and Nancy had that conversation while an unstable environment was forming around them and about to drown them, and once they told their truth, it became solid and they were safe.

Also, Stranger Things is a story about storytelling

But anywho

Nah I think plenty of ppl put this in their favorite show list and may even have it as their favorite show.

It might not be my first string show but when it comes back on, I’m like “oh that’s why I love this show”

Show took the world by storm its first season

How Vecna going to kidnap a boy put a long fleshy thing down his throat and put all kind of shit inside of him and then tell him that “I’m gonna tell everybody you’re gay”

If I was Will I would be like “Nigga you gayer”

They spent 5 seasons on Vecna and he's not even the final boss lol

Defeating the mindflayer in 2 hours and 8 minutes is insane
See I was thinking that big reveal last episode was Vecna telling Will he’s the big bad and that’s what he was scared of telling everyone but no it’s the big coming out party

I know one thing, there better not be a big reveal that requires you to connect obscure dots from 5 different obscure episodes over 5 seasons. If there’s a big revelation, that shit better be clear as day, and from the show, not from the play.

I’m not trying to watch breakdown videos where something happened in the background of episode 3, season 1 and episode 8 season 3 and episode 6 season 4, etc. that “if you were paying attention you would have known the whole time”.

Idek if we need a reveal atp

Pretty much what we have now is a heist film mixed with action adventure and science fiction

I think the main reveal that wouldn't be a surprise to me is exactly how vecna got his powers which is the mind flayer

Maybe we have a full on battle with the mind flayer on its turf

Any other reveal would be a total surprise to me

I think the big reveal is that Henry is El's father.

Like they used his DNA to impregnate her mom's
That would make sense given she’s the only one who has an equal level of power to him.

Or they somehow reveal she got her powers some other way similar to Henry. Like if Papa obtained the case contents that infected Henry and he used them on 11. I know that’s a super stretch but they known for plot yoga so.

Here we go with this BS. The season sucks and trying to discredit legit criticism saying people expected too much is a cop out because you refuse to see the flaws. Damn right people should expect better as this is not free and we are paying money. Netflix keeps raising their prices so I expect something at least decent. You same people ripped on Iron Fist and this is way worst than that and that last season of Jessica Jones. I am seeing fanboys and fangirls who loved every season talking about how bad S5 has been. You on that Last Jedi shit, "You had too high expectation". I do not like having my time wasted and when I am literally fast forwarding through scenes just to get through the show makes its real bad. I have never done that to any movie or show in my entire life. I thought S3 was bad, but I found entertainment in it and did not fast forward. Maybe people like you need to take the damn cape off or just admit you like trash. Netflix shows always fall off at the end, but this was all time low for their biggest show.

You missed "its completely subjective to the viewer" and "breathe" have you heard of the 7-11 method?
