Netflix Sean Combs: The Reckoning

Added to Calendar: 12-02-25

Idk that story about Aubrey being told there's a video of her being assaulted but she doesn't remember is wild as fuck and she been talking about Diddy since she got kicked out of Danity Kane over a decade ago. And some of did speak out about Diddy but were ignored. I remember folks clowning Mark Curry when he 1st started talking about Diddy saying he was crazy and bitter. Same with Craig Mack. Folks had jokes and said Diddy drove him to be a religious nutjob.

Many did stand by and watch but there were some who tried to sound the alarms but were drowned out

I'm torn on the Aubrey thing because the context is unclear to me. Was this just a random get together and they drugged her and raped her? If so, yeah that's crazy. Or was this a freak off or sex party type thing and she willing got blitzed knowing things could get crazy? I don't know. Even in the documentary she didn't even seem that bothered by what happened. She seemed more bothered that it got out and she had to relive it.

Also, Mark Curry did sound bitter though. Again, I'm not saying he wasn't a victim or that he didn't try to sound the alarm. I'm saying that they were cool dealing with Puff's foulness until it was turned on them. I got that same impression from Mark. He knew what kinda dude Puff was from the start.

It's like Margery Taylor Green speaking out about Trump now. She's not going to sway anyone against him that didn't already dislike him. All his people are going to look at her and be like "You're just saying this because he rejected you."

She's been on record since she left Danity Kane that she repeatedly turned Diddy down and was not going for his attempts. The emails they he was sending to her in the documentary. The situation as she described was somebody said they saw a video of her passed out being assaulted. And her struggle was because she doesn't remember there's nothing she can really do and she doesn't know if she wants to invite that memory into her conscious or even how charges would be pressed from it. She says it in the doc. She also said that's why she didn't go for the shit with him giving artist their publishing back because it came with an NDA which she refused to sign.

I agree that the majority of people around Diddy benefited til he turned on them. But there were a handful who have been sounding the alarm on him for years and they got drowned out or painted as crazy and bitter.

Again, I'm not saying she's not a victim or didn't take a stand against Diddy. I'm saying I don't know the context of what went down. Again, if they drugged her and then raped her, she's a victim case closed. If they were partying under conditions where it was known by all parties how things can go down (which seemed to be the case for a lot of those parties based on various people have said) and she chose to get wasted and let whatever happened happen, I don't really see her as a victim. Like I don't believe she got trained that night and woke up the next day and didn't know anything happened. That's not consistent with what you hear from women who've had that experience. Again, I'm not saying she's not a victim, but I don't believe that she didn't know anything went down that night. I believe it's at least possible, she knew something sexual happened and was ok without knowing the details.

You admit you don't know the context but have formed a full belief of what happened and how she feels about it. That doesn't make sense but ok.

Bro, can you not read or do you just like to be dense? I gave you two scenarios that I feel are plausible given the information we know and said more than once that I don't know which of those happened so I can't say whether she is a victim or not. I don't know what mental gymnastics you're pulling to go from there to me having a fully formed belief.

The only thing that I said I don't believe is that she didn't know anything happened at all. Why? Because women tend to know when they've been rammed out even when they were under the influence. Could I be wrong? Sure, I'm not trying to charge her with perjury here. I'm just giving my impression of the situation based on the information we have.

You literally just said what you do and don't believe happened. Unless believe has another definition that's the word you keep using.

And the only thing I said I don't believe is that she had no idea nothing at all happened the next day. Everything else I'm not taking a stance on.

I'll be real. I don't have much sympathy for any of the victims presented in the actual documentary. I'm talking specifically about the people featured in the documentary. I believe them when they say Puff wronged them, so I acknowledge they are victims. However, pretty much all of them admitted to knowing that Puff was garbage. All of them stood by and watched Puff victimize other people. They were complicit in his bad actions and really only had a problem when he turned on them. One dude even admitted that he thought he was part of the reason Puff came to think he could get away with anything.
This was my take away for the most part. Like the trampling incident that resulted in 9 deaths. That is a people problem, a community issue, and not the fault of a party promoter.

No doubt Diddy is an ego maniac, but that is a requisite for being an icon or someone worshipped like a god. All of the people involve inflated Diddy's ego an empowered him along the way. Its a sad state of the world, but when someone begins taking advantage of others, they are successful for two reasons: they take advantage of another like-minded person who understands its all in the game or sadly, no victim speaks up until the story isn't believable.

Yall know what i am talking about. 50 always go hard at other blacks and hold a grudge. The issue he had with any whites was strictly business. He would not make a doc about a none black. I could careless about Puff, this is about 50's coonin. he was given the greenlight by his overlords.
