The Dolphins were eliminated from the playoffs on Monday.

Tua, we all know, is injury prone.

So why are people acting like the decision to not start him for the rest of the season represents a move to move on from him at the QB position, and not a move to protect their injury-prone, franchise QB for next season?

The new kickoff rule plays a part in the yards but not that much.

These offensive coaches and QBs are lacking something

Because they're not keeping tua bruh lol they're blowing it up in the offseason....new GM, new head coach

Defenses have gotten alot better over the years....I'm pretty sure that plays a part in it too
Cousins alludes to it as well. But an veteran QB should be able to manipulate coverage at times.

Funny thing is scoring is a little higher compared to 2020. Imo the cautious effort to get the ball out quicker as an compliment to the running game plays a part as well.

Imo there are not too many QB'S that can stand in the pocket and read defenses so you're gonna get a lot of dink and dunk.

Defenses will play you accordingly. Right now since very few are willing to stretch the field, teams are winning by field position and fg's.

So Qb's will be 18 for 25 with 150 to 200 yards. They are basically game managers now.

Though since there's a difference between college and nfl... one could also say college should set you up better to play in the pros

It's gotta suck going from a play calling coach that runs a pro style offense and then get paired with a defense first head coach. I will always believe a QB and head coach should be joined at the hip.

I mean there is the QB coach and OC lol

Just as much QB evaluation. Teams rather get the cheap rookie QB contract. None of those were really can't miss QB prospects
This is true but you still don't wanna waste first round draft capital on projects.

Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger, Eli Manning, Russell Wilson, Carson Wentz, and Patrick Mahomes

are Qb's that have won on rookie deals. Some HOF coaches leading HOF qb's on this list. Out of all the benched players from the OP it's safe to say some meh coaching was involved.

QB's and Coaching are subpar rn in the league.
