I hate the whole pennywise knowing the future dumb shit. That was never spoken about in the movie. It just opens up unnecessary plot holes. If that is the case, he could have killed the family members of all the kids from the lower club. Shit was dumb.

Any time time travel or manipulation comes in to play it fucks up the story OR gives the director/writer an out for their bullshit.

It really wasnt needed. Could have just said that girl was gonna be the parent of Richie without pennywise knowing. And then maybe she forgets her battles with Pennywise once she becomes an adult. I have an issue with adding something that major when it wasnt in the movie, which would be the source material for this series.
 
If i survived that and pennywise went back to sleep, aint no way in hell im staying in Derry. I'll make like a journal or recording with a bunch of evidence to help me remember once I leave. I'll help those still there but im gonna be in a whole other state.

Saw an interesting theory online. Said IT can see time as non-linear so he experiences the past, present, and future all at once.

But, he only regained this vision when the gate was opened and once trapped back in Derry loses that ability again.

Now if he goes back to 1935 and can still know the future while being trapped in Derry that theory falls apart.
 
Just saw another one that said IT is moving backward in time now. So when he died in 2016 he was born again and moved backward in time. So the parents don’t remember in 1989 because they didn’t experience IT. Now when he goes back to 1935 he’ll go after Leroy, Marge’s parents, etc. But Leroy, Marge’s parent, etc. still won’t know as adults because that version of them didn’t experience IT as a child.
 
I really hope they dont do no fucking time travel. That would hurt my heart.

The multi verse is not time travel. If they were gonna introduce timeliness, that defeats the purpose of leaving out the turtle.

they been teasing turtles throughout the season. I wonder if theyre going to address it head on at any point
