I really dislike when people say stuff like Domestic Violence is real or Mental Illness is real after something happens. Who TF said it was fake? That shit irks me

i think it's more of validating that it happens and acknowledging it when the black community has historically ignored it or avoided talking about them altogether.

Both of those are still getting ignored today. Mental illness gets brought up every time there's a shooting but nothing is really done
 
Not gonna lie, one of the things this year that had me the most invested and bothered is what’s going on with Shedeur Sanders. When bro was getting disrespected, there were people saying that he’s not being disrespected. He’s being treated like the 5th round pick he is.

Now that bro is showing signs of his ability. Those same people are trying to hold him to the standard you’d have for a first rounder.

Shit like, if you ever had people behave in a way like they don’t wanna cheer you on cause they wanna see you fail. Even though you haven’t done anything to them.

You feel what the young man is going through. None of the empathy that should be afforded to him, more than all of the criticism you can put on him.
