For sure the economy, the price of gas, food, housing, utilities etc have all skyrocketed - which is partly reason for the drop in sales…

We will never see the pre Covid world again, that’s just hopes and dreams now…

But the market has also been killed by resellers. Their bulk buys, and resell markups have killed the entire industry.

The quality has also become cheaper to the point that buying reps (which have improved) isn’t looked down upon anymore.

TikTok, Temu, SHEIN and the like have made cheaper lifestyle clothing much more attractive. The culture has shifted from expensive means better to cheaper is better.

Esp now that it’s known that the rich don’t own shit, but rent it out for their image.

These companies better start catching on…

Never copped any lebrons ever lol they got too much going on and all I remember was there were always super colorful like lime green and shit

I got the South beach ones that look like it had palm trees. The only ones I really liked. Have i wore them yet nope
 
I just knew the shoe game was fucked up when I went to the mall (a very very rare occurrence) and walked into one of the sneaker boutique shops just to window shop looked at something that was a general release maybe months prior… price was something like triple the markup. I don’t remember what model but I laughed.. I guess a little vacuum seal/ saran wrap suddenly triples the value… FOH anyone that pays that.

Maybe thats how I get rich if I do the same to my DS collection.
