Netflix Being Eddie

Added to Calendar: 11-12-25

I enjoyed it. Didn’t learn much more than I already knew. Eddie is funny as hell though. Amazing he was the biggest start at 21 in the 80’s and didn’t get into much bullshit.

That puppet shit though threw me off though, lol. His comeback to standup better not be him talking between a puppet of Pryor and one of Cosby, lol.

Nah I need him to do that at least for part of his act that shit would be hilarious but that’s just me. I really hope he is getting that itch to get back on stage.

Eddie is one of them ones. Just a master storyteller and I know he didn’t even scratch the surface on all his stories. I didn’t want it to end.

I do hope if he ever decides to come back it can’t be on Netflix that’s gotta be an event like Raw and Delirious was. Theater only. And it needs to be at least 2 hours.

It's great to see him tell his own story in comparison to what the press said about him during various moments in his life. Great to see him cut up with his fellow comedians. I love that in the end he goes back to how he started displaying his comedic talent as a child. So damn talented.
I can relate to him not wallowing in misery, you mourn and remember but not in a way that leads to massive depression. I just want more and i wish this documentary had four parts because before i knew it it was over. I look forward to seeing whats next in his career.

Does this touch on that notorious night Eddie gave a ride to dude dressed up like a female in the wee hours of the night ?
