You gotta use him to get money and give them a young player who might no work out on your team

Like a jerami grant and scoot for Sabonis trade

I get your saying but unless that young player is perceived negatively around the league you're losing


Like in your example....if The Blazers just put Scoot on the market by himself Im sure teams would give up postive value to aquire him


So why am I attaching him to a negative value contract to bring back a negative value contract in Sabonis


Has to be bad money for bad money......or if anything Sacramento needs to be attaching an asset to him in order to get off the money lol

I didn’t think too hard about it at all to be honest

I picked the blazers because

They don’t NEED scoot
They I think have it in them to absorb Sabonis
They have the team that can make up for Sabonis’ lack of defense
He would play next to Clingan and or Rob Williams so he would be strictly a PF

This also give the blazers a “star”

It’s not a great one but he is a real talent to put around sharpe, camara, Deni, and Clingan

Idk though but it was an example of who could maybe take him

But why are you essentially dumping Scoot when you can trade him for actual postive value in return

Don't get me wrong though, I would love for the Blazers to do this

But regardless of you what you think about him if you just made him available right now.....do you think theres a team that would give up a first round pick for him?
