The Wu-Tang Clan Has Been Inducted Into The Rock n Roll HOF

Damn man they had Tyler The Creator doing Dre’s verses in the performance? That nigga really is done with rhyming. Won’t even perform at the ceremony

Niggas wouldn't show it the proper respect. They would have turned it into what the BET Awards became. No one want to see another event with black men beefing over bullshit and black women allowing themselves to be dog walked out on a stage.
So the only option is rock and roll HOF? Lol

It could still work if ran by the right people. Enforce a strict black tie dress code policy. Keep it professional and formal.

Exactly.

VH1 back in the day did the Hip Hop Honors events a few times and they weren’t bad. One year I remember they had one dedicated to the South. Need to take some notes from that.

Those events should’ve been the actual HOF. Not sure why that wasn’t capitalized on.

Is it wrong that I am of the opinion that the Idlewild Soundtrack help solidify their standing?

Roses and Idlewild Blue was a fucking monster that transcended racial and societal norms.

With that being said… if it weren’t for 3000….

Yeah, I don't know about all that. I think Idlewild was easily the most forgettable album in their catalog. I'm also pretty sure Morris Brown and Hollywood Divorce were the most popular tracks from that album.
