I'm not hating on the heat but it's hard for me to think they are also not fools gold.

I think they can be 7-10 seed, but not sure if they can crack top 6 when it's all said and done.

This is only because idk if they can sustain this offense. Players gonna be gassed soon and defense gonna suffer.

But they can prove me wrong.

I wouldn't be surprised if the heat crack into the top 6. But its hard to tell cause they have a whole new system.

The bulls are def more fools gold though imo.

That’s fair

I guess I’m leaning into BDB saying the heat are run like the military so I don’t worry about conditioning and being burned out

Also I think the heat having so many guys between

Ware
Bam
Wiggins
Powell
Herro
Smith
Mitchell
Fontecchio
Larsson
Jovic
Jaquez
A sprinkle of Kasparas maybe

That wear and tear shouldn’t be a huge issue

That’s 11 core guys and 1 more to use on a nightly basis

but idk it’s only week 2 this could be a distant memory in 2 months we’ll see

The Heat are fun to watch and that’s all I care about lol

One thing for sure is that the heat is better than anyone expected.

I don't think that changed.

So it's bout to be a good season for y'all vs expectations regardless. And thats always a good thing.

And they might even surprise me further. I'm not leaning either way about them being fools gold, I just need to see it a bit longer since it's a whole new style of play

Idk about better than expected totally from my end

We played the magic, grizzlies, Knicks, hornets, spurs so far

These were all winnable games going into them

I need to see them against better teams which is why I’m intrigued by the clippers as a litmus test

Good/interesting thing is Herro should be back probably in 2 weeks

Take the Knicks out the list and add them as a good team yall beat and we agree.
