I mean you can’t expect 5 rookies to be all developed

Remember nets shocked everyone by even drafting all of them

Doesn’t have to be disappointing though

If you get a stud in this draft, we can accelerate things a bit

Imagine having Darryn Peterson and you worried about Egor Demin’s development lol

Or boozer and Wolf

I like Saraf though I have for years

He can replace cam Thomas but off the bench

Why can’t we develop the 5 rookies into potential contributors and then get the superstar next year? It would look better if Demin develops into something alongside whomever they pick next year. That’s the best case scenario imo.

Well one because Traore is a better prospect than Demin which is why some laughed at the nets drafting Demin at 8

I’m not saying you can’t develop them into potential contributors but I’m just saying the probability of all those guys being developed well enough for that is low

The min you draft a potential superstar the clock is going to move up though

How many years were these teams bad or trying to be bad after drafting:

but Jordi BEEN said from jump "You gotta earn your minutes"
And the rookies playin like straight ass but outside of Cam, Jordi needs to LOOK at his roster man
It aint gon get any better than this so just play the rookies and let them try to develop.... these niggas arent gonna win anyway

Jordi and Marks are not on the same page. Beta is right, NEXT year is the real test. Til then Jordi gotta humble himself low key

Idk man. Traore is in the G League and when he played he was underwhelming. Demin has shown a little bit more so far (that’s not saying much). And who knows how they develop long term I guess we’ll have to wait and see. I look at this year and next year as developmental years, the best case scenario is by the end of the year we see progression from everyone. Then we get the number one pick and draft whomever is the best player available. Then these guys all develop together and we build a nice young core.

I want them all to play too and that would be my preference but they seem to be not ready yet.

Analysis, they are not a very good team right now with no help on the way unless they start selling now

Well yeah but Traore came from overseas whereas Demin played in college so there’s a bigger adjustment for Traore

I feel you on everything you’re saying but what you say about all of them developing around your star draft pick sounds good in theory but..

I can see like Saraf/Demin and Wolf going in a trade with MPJ or something
