I wore an old Serge Lutens 'Borneo 1834' sample yesterday, figured the cold weather would suit it...
Its a really nice fragrance and I enjoyed wearing it but the heavy cacao made it little too chocolatey and on the feminine side for me to get a full bottle, even though its often at the discounters...
@Tayboo have you tried it??? If not I think you'd really dig it, as I guess its chocolatey enough to be considered gourmand...
I'd get random wafts of cacao throughout the day, felt like I'd had it sprinkled on me!!! Though Its got more than the cacao going for it, the patchouli is great and the balsamic resins give it a slightly sharp alcohol-like tinge that really blended well with the dry powdery cacao...
