My observations after the Knicks L.

Deuce is probably the most significant piece in the puzzle we’re trying to build this season. The offense slows down noticeably when Josh is running with the first unit, because defenses are able to collapse. They don’t have to respect his perimeter threat the same way they do with Deuce. On top of that, Deuce allows Jalen to play more off the ball. That alone changes everything — it means Brunson doesn’t have to constantly force the issue or burn so much energy creating every possession. It gives the offense more balance, better spacing, and keeps our pace from stalling out.

I’m not worried about Clarkson. A player as aggressive as he is coming into a team that’s learning him while also trying to learn a new system is naturally going to have some rough stretches. It’ll take him a few weeks to figure out where his spots are and how to get to them.

And Yabusele? I’m just chalking that up to Mitchy-itis. His fat ass probably just needs to play himself into shape the same way we’ve watched Mitch do for the last half decade.

Miami, is always a tough matchup. Let's get it, on to the next one.

I’m most worried what happens with powell

We been kinda fine with him starting

It’s possible he can do the same off the bench but I wonder about rhythm

Actually it kinda ties into your concern, when Tyler starts he’s not going to play like powell so it’s kinda the same issue
