In the credits, it says those are fictional characters and is a fictional story but inspired by real people. Alot of that stuff didn't happen in real life. The character that played ginger (dinero's wife) didnt do alot of that stuff in real life. They really just got the addiction part right and had kids with the boss. She was never an escort turned manipulater. She did overdose and died but not like in the movie.
