I think they mean they used their influence to bring in big money players.

IMO , the mob got Chauncey when he allegedly accepted the money. Once you do that, they got you.

You are already guilty of a crime so let's push the envelope and start fixing games. At this point he has no choice but to do what they say.

It's how they have infiltrated legit businesses for a century and a half. Once they find your "price", you're fucked. It's either do what they say or you better run to the feds before it's too late.

It be mad people in these indictments but the only faces that get put out there are of the rich black men. Ain't seen nan one of those Israeli's in the arenas case or any of these costra nostra mfs or asians in the indictment. Nasty work.

If he's not afraid of mob intimidation. Also, he better have something the feds can use bcuz it sounds like they really don’t need his cooperation. They might have all of them red-handed.
