Man last night was a great night for basketball and a great night for the NBA.
That's how you want to start the season.
I didn't see much the whole Lakers game, only watched the 2nd quarter really, so I can't say much there.
But the Rockets OKC game was fire.
Rockets had every chance to win. I wouldn't be too worried about them cause their biggest issue looked like it was chemistry, and thatll fix itself after 15-20 games.
Sengun looked good, but to me the rockets are all about what Amen can do, and imo Amen looked really good last night. He seemed like a more confident and composed player and didnt look erratic like he did at times last year. I did want him to be a bit more confident in his shot, but that will come time too.
The one thing that needs to happen is that this team can't play like last year where the ball moves and finds the open shot. This year they got KD and in crunch time, the ball has to find KD. Not that KD needs to shoot every shot, but KD needs to touch the ball every possession late and make the decision on where the ball goes.
The one real issue with the Rockets though is that they're gonna need a true pg.
