When does flip ever actually do that tho? I fw flip but he has no purpose on the pod at this point. Thought he might be able to create some other content but improper improv wasn't interesting without Joe. Its over.

Marc takes shots at everyone and then uses the guise of I’m just speaking intelligently and you’re missing what I’m saying. Nah Marc, you’re being an asshole.

They make themselves easy targets. JBP operated for a while off niggas speaking like experts on random topics they usually had no indepth knowledge of. As a counter to that having someone who actually has knowledge on alot of the areas they talk about it can come across as taking a shot to be consistently corrected. But that's an ego thing of people not wanting to be seen as being wrong in public. Thats a them issue more than Marc Lamont Hill

But thats my point dont DOES take shots, its not him just being intelligent. He has throw shots the minute he starting working there with emanny for example. he dont know emanny/mel. why the fuck is he shooting at them...but like i said he does he shit and then says oh you just dont get it im so smart haha. alot of people have seen that shit and just now started to call it out but everybody like marc so he can do no wrong to his fans

Alot of times the basis of their back and forths are them just getting loud and yelling because they don't understand him because he's speaking on some shit they haven't opened their brain too. For example the recent episode where Joe tried to clown Marc for writing in for felons to not be overcharged in their sentences. Joe was trying to make Marc seem stupid for advocating that people not be fucked over in courts. And he kept trying til ol girl broke the shit down on how dumb he sounded arguing against fair sentencing. Shit like that happens and you get put on blast enough then yeah you might start your question your own intelligence.

So do they or don't they understand him? Because you just said both in back to back sentences. I don't even think their misunderstanding of him is malicious. I think it's a situation where you got a nigga like Joe who has proven he hates not being the smartest in the room and others who think getting loud means you're winning a debate. Then when that shit gets challenged they realize their anecdotal povs often don't hold up under scrutiny. They did the same shit to Ish when he 1st came onto the show when he didn't seem as dumb as the rest can at times
