If I trade Lamelo I have no interest in acquiring talent thats going to help me win

Im trying be as awful as possible and increase my lottery odds

Even if you dont like Lamelo the best thing that could happen for Charlotte would be for him to be healthy and good


If thats not the case than the only option would be trade him and reset....they dont have enough talent to just move on from him and reset things around the rest of the young players

Thats their problem now....they have been bad for so long but havent reaped the benefits of it.....right now they're in the same place they were 4 years ago

If you're trading Lamelo than that means he's either not playing well or hurt


How are you going to get a positive return for a negative asset?

Also most teams dont just have 40 million dollars in matching salary to just throw in a trade

Like it or not they need Lamelo to workout.....if hes good than at the deadline you can actually do something like trading for a center or some defensive help and improve the team

Offensively this could be a monster but defensively I don't see it. Pg don't want to bang in the paint like that and him and Grimes are unswitchable next to eachother.
