Knicks last year had all the tools to be a modern offense except the coach. I'm not hating on Thibs but it is what it is.

It might still turn out Thibs old school way of running players and his coaching style being "just play harder" might be more effective.

Im glad we at least trying to put together a modern offense though.

That's always been my thing with the coaching change

How do you get more out of this group since you know you're pretty much running it back with the same personnel?

Have to try a different philosophy if the players are going to be the same....Thibs left a lot on the table and you can't simply just "coach them harder".

Nothing is guaranteed but it was worth the try versus staying stagnant
