For me, I didn't always agree with some of the shit he said, but I didn't disagree either, even when it came to some of the shit he said about Black folks.

The man was racist. All his commentary about Black people stemmed from his racist views. There's no way to separate them. So you saying you agreed with some of his thoughts means you was nodding yes to his racist ideas
