Charlie Kirk Dead at 31; Suspect Arrested?

I think this shit is going to expose Kash Patel and the upheaval in the FBI by him and Trump. How does someone do this in broad daylight and you take two people into custody and they’re the wrong people? And the shooter is still at large at this moment?

The calls to get justice for Kirk will get louder and louder from the right and cause a lot of inner turmoil.

This is why you keep continuity in supposed to be non-political government positions.

Before they reveal the weapon and the caliber of the rounds that were used, let me say this: 200 yards is not a difficult shot with a scope. Even for a person who has never shot a gun. In fact, the people who have never shot guns before usually perform better the first time on the range than the more experienced shooters because they can be trained properly from the start.

I'm not on any conspiracy shit, but think of it like playing Madden with the FG sliders all the way up. Those 60-yard kicks ain't shit with the sliders on. The scope is this case is the slider. Most military personnel are trained to shoot from 4 positions. Standing, kneeling, sitting, and prone. At 200 yards, or I should say, the further you get from the target, the more stable you are as you get closer to the ground. So while shooting from 200 yards in the prone with a scope is considered routine and easy, doing it standing with a scope from that distance is more reliable than, say, somebody shooting a pistol at someone from 100 feet away. The scope is the equalizer. The position of the shooter, standing, kneeling, sitting, prone, only adds or subtracts from the stability.

Just saying that someone looking through a scope like an ACOG from 200 yards at a sitting target could've aimed directly for his head and caught any part of it. This is not to say that the shooter meant to shoot him in his neck. Just saying at 200 yards with a scope, you could aim for the head and you'll still hit the target somewhere on the head with 90% accuracy. The number lowers the further away and less stable you get.

This is wholly untrue. If you don't know how to zero your scope or know how to adjust your aim based on where it was zeroed, you ain't hittin' anything.

Trump has had the least experienced and least qualified cabinet in US history in both of his terms. Moments like this and COVID always expose that.

That's probably true, but we're talking about throwing on a scope versus having ironsights. A scope, even if it hasn't been zeroed, will provide a higher success rate than going in that bitch raw with ironsights.

Also, everyone gets trained on how to use a scope before actually using it in training, but for the sake of this conversation, I'm comparing a normal person just grabbing a rifle with a scope on it versus a rifle without a scope to provide context.

You put the scope on incorrectly and be completely off target

They have devices like laser bore sights to help zero but if you place the scope on wrong you can still be off target

A scope can't be put on incorrectly. It only fits one direction. You could put it on too close or too far, but you can't put it on backwards. That's besides the point, though.

It has to be zeroed on the rifle before you can use it. Throw it on and just go out in the field without properly zeroing it will mean your shots will be all over the place. You simply cannot just roll over to Walmart, pick up a scope, throw it on in the ride and expect to hit anything.

I thought someone added the laughter. 😭 😭

this one of my favorite gifs after seeing the movie where it originated from & getting context for the laugh

Planet of the apes

the astronauts travel from earth to the planet of the apes, had to use sleep chambers or sumn cuz it took like 50yrs or 100yrs to get there

once there, they're exploring & whatnot, then one of the astronauts is talking about seeing his family

then dude in the gif is like "everyone you know is dead by now" & proceeds to laugh as you see

:hahaha:
