I doubt Nolan ever steps in the arena of comic book films again and he likes having total control over a production which is not the way Marvel Studios works

Villeneueve is not above doing franchise films seeing as he's done Dune and is about to do a James Bond movie but I dont see him doing a Marvel/DC thing either

I don't think they would be interested in doing comic book films regardless. Nolan has already said he's never doing another comic book film. Villeneuve called marvel movies "cut and paste films" and said they're numbing audiences lol.
