I don’t get it Mainoo has played well w Bruno in the past and even assisted Bruno in the preseason match against West Ham

Why wait til the season starts to now say I can’t play them together and they need to compete for minutes knowing they see Bruno as undroppable

I feel like Amorim doesn’t rate Mainoo but knows he ll catch hell if he gives him the Rashford/Garnacho treatment so he is using this competition W Bruno shit as an excuse

Also why would you publicly pit 2 players against each other isn’t that what ETH pulled w Amad and Antony that got him fast track out of Manchester
