Well I know what they’re doing as far as young talent (grabbing as many young prospects as possible to see who rises to the top) but it’s hard to do with so much competition and overlap with players at the same position and having vets on the team

If anything despite being one of the few wings on the team and someone who can actually shoot, Kispert doesn’t exactly fit with this roster being the age he is

He’s not younger than 25 and he’s not older than 30

I’m a season away from them needing to trade Sarr

If they do some more bullshit like having him play with AJ and Tre Johnson and like Keshawn George I’m demanding a trade for him

I would like to see them balance the roster some more and put guys in a bit of a better situation to develop and succeed but at the end of the day Washinton needs to as much high end talent as possible and the best way for them do that right now is the draft.....So unfortunately Keefe might be a necessary evil right now to ensure they have the best chance of picking top 3


I want to see Kispert on a different team also but the problem is nobody is trying to pay him 14, 14 and 13 mil the next 3 years....hes simply not worth that

I’d pay him that

If he actually is put in the right position and can get actual decent mins I think that’s good value

One is 6’5 and the other is 6’7

One shoots 40% FG for his career and if I remember correctly very rarely attempts shots that aren’t threes

The other shoots 47% FG for his career

Kispert has a back to the basket game that Mathews doesn’t have and he’s more offensively versatile

Mathews is a sharpshooting role player with not much other utility

Come on bro let’s not disrespect Kispert by saying he’s not worth $14 mil in big 2025

I dont think Kispert has much as much versatility as you make it seem

They're actually pretty similar across the board production and efficiency wise

I personally wouldn't pay Kispert 14 mil, thats an overpay imo

Kennard on a year deal making 11.....health aside Kennard is better than Kispert

Kispert been in the league 4 years and only two of those he shot over 36% from 3

Doesn't provide defense or playmaking....Kennard at least can provide secondary ball handling and is actually pretty good running pick and roll



I think he is due for a change of scenery but for what he provides you can find cheaper alternative options

Just because you can find other players who are also making more than they deserve that doesnt justify you overpaying someone else

Kennard literally does everything better than Kispert(I already said health aside lol)

If Kispert wast a free agent this off season do you think he a team would've paid him 14 million dollars per year?

If I can find many players making the same money who are in the same tier as him that’s a direct indicator that he’s not overpaid though

You considering them all overpaid is now your opinion but I’m going by the market

Nice try

Nobody had money this offseason but the pistons gave Duncan Robinson 16 mil

so if they didn’t get him I can argue they would be perfectly okay with giving CK $14 mil
