Yeah, I knew I got "got" a few days after that post. That was a spontaneous buy when I was in the mall. Smelled it and then bought it. Days later, I researched it online to find out the price is so much cheaper

I got samples of a couple of initio perfumes. Rehab has the lavender woody fresh profile that I enjoy, but way too masculine for my taste. I don't think my son would like this either so I'll have to find someone to pass this along to. Power self is a gorgeous musky rose scent. It reminds me of Chloe edp, but the rose in this is more soft and refined unlike Chloe which smells sharp and very matronly. Perfect for this time year, but not worth the $400+ price. I think I might buy a decant of this and hope to find a full bottle somewhere on the grey market.

Also I've been into buying older designer perfumes lately. Marshmallow blush is dupe of Kayali yum bougie marshmallow. This is gonna be my last dupe purchase for a good while. The dupe actually last waaaay longer and has better projection then the original. It smells like a fluffy strawberry marshmallow.
 
I tried Bvlgari Tygar and Yasep.

Both smell really good but not worth the price.

Tygar became a skin scent in minutes.

Yasep, I only sprayed on paper but comments say it also has a weak sillage.

If im gonna pay $400 for a bottle (I wouldnt), then i want people in China to smell me from here.

I recently got a 5ml of Afnan Turathi Blue from fragrancenet.com. It is a clone of Bvlgari Tygar. I liked Tygar but the poor performance for the price wasnt worth it.

Afnan Turathi smells good. Full bottle is only like $30. It is a edp. I saw reviews on it and lots of people said it was a good clone.

Im gonna rock it for the day and see how it performs.

Yeah, this is a good one. Smells great. Projects for 3 hours and then it becomes a good scent. I expect that from summer fragrances. This is a good clone and cheap. I will buy a full bottle once I run out of the travel size. Full bottle is about $32.
 
I need to reup on Tygar. Afternoon Swim is better, but they're both God tier must haves for the collection.
 
The new Bleu de Chanel is almost 300 smh They saw niggas paying 300-400 for niche and wanted in, now retail fragrances are crazy high.

It's just a flanker, most popular retail fragrances have flankers. For the most part, flankers take the DNA of the original fragrance and make subtle changes. In some cases, it's a completely different scent, but most retain the DNA. A lot of the times, they take the DNA and make it fit certain occasions, one might be for warm weather, the next flanker for winter, etc

I think all of the Bleu De Chanel flankers are:

EDT
EDP
Parfum
The newest one is L'Exclusif, from what i'm seeing it's more of a cold weather fragrances,

A lot of designer brands are either trying to push into the niche market or go into the affordable market that's being dominated by Arabian fragrance houses by offering body mist, hair perfumes, and oils. That middle of road designer market has started to see a decline in sales.

Their sample set is great value, none of them are offensive and great for the summertime...

Chanel - Pour Monsieur EdT
Chanel - Pour Monsieur EdP (different to the EdT, the EdP leans more heavier, the vanilla gives it more spring vibe)
Any of Acqua Di Parma's 'Blu Range' (I like blu mediterraneo)... They are always heavily discounted at the discounters too...
Acqua Di Parma - Colonia
Guerlain - Homme EdP (lovely mojito vibe great for tropical holiday vibe)
Floris - Neroli Voyage

Managed to pick up this 'partial' 2016 Prada Amber Pour Homme for just over £40... Its had two or three sprays, so its really a full bottle...

Its absolutely banging, not sure why its called 'Amber' though... Its a great warm weather scent but defo one I'd class for all seasons, Its super clean with a lovely orris root/vanilla dry down but not cloying in the heat...

After trying the OG Spanish version and the newer L'Oreal reformulation side by side, I had to try find the OG... The current version has lost its richness and very anorexic... Still a nice scent but that thick richness really makes it...
