Anddddd we’re BACK to being a 7th/8th seed

If the Raptors make the 7/8 seed they should consider that a successful season

My thing is how do they build on that?....What's the path to not being a perennial 7/8 seed and getting into top 4 in the East?

All of these teams are young and aren't going anywhere.....when Boston and Indiana regroup after this season thats two more teams that push them down the pecking order

I think you need to accept there’s no grandiose plan big dog

No use to keep racking your brain about this lol

They’ll probably move IQ and Barrett or Ingram between now and the end of the 2026/2027 season

They’ll go from there

I think they just going to enjoy being middling and a first round ceiling team I guess the Chris Bosh era

They just got rid of Masai too

I can’t think they know for sure what’s going on right now besides trying to make the play in

Let’s stop acting like the raptors are this crazy great organization

They had a nice 5 year stretch last decade

There’s no plans to being a top 4 seed

It’s not 2018 anymore

And before anybody asks,

The heat’s plan is kinda obvious

Decide if they want to keep Herro

See who deserves to stay this season between Jaquez, Jovic, Larsson, Keshad

Move on from Rozier either at the deadline or next offseason

Same for Wiggins

Powell either move at the deadline or resign next season to potentially replace Herro in a deal if he goes

Ware needs to improve defensively to be considered a long term starter at C

Heat probably max out as a 6th seed at the very most if everything is perfect but it never is perfect

Idk if kasparas gets decent mins this season (doubt it)

Wouldn’t mind if the Heat slid to the lottery

Heat really are waiting for 2026 to get shit shaking

This is a bridge season for evaluation and trying to flip a few assets if the opportunity arises

We’ve seen better days but there’s a chance this team is a tough 7th seed

So the grandiose plan for the heat is to resign a 33 year old norman powell if herro doesn't work out? The nerve of this nigga.

I know you’re doing a bit and that’s fine but no

The Heat have the option of signing Powell if they want to as he would be cheaper than Herro and then using the space from Wiggins and Rozier being gone to give money to a first option

Not a plan but it’s an option if they wanted to do that

I mean that this thing, they had built up all this equity and imo they were a top 3 -5 organization in the league

The season after the bubble was the year to reset everything but it felt like Masai was on his Danny Ainge steeze and was going for the fleece

We'll see how things go this season though and how it comes together
