I just finished this series. Franklin is a sociologists' dream. A case study of how your environment shapes you and what you have to become in order to get ahead of it.

I hate teddy but the show did a great job of showing how he and frank are mirrors of each other. They were both so convicted in that the means justified their ends. But at end of the day, neither one was free or had any real power. They were both pawns in the game of US interests and were easily disposable.

Reading the comments on the finale were so funny lol.

You've been giving that dude too much grace. He started the beef with his family when Louie and Jerome started to level up and didn't want to play subordinates anymore.

I can see why you hate his mother, it was all good when the money was coming in until shit went left. She was worse in the wire, sacrificing her son for the business and Avon still fucked it all up.

Everybody in the family was eating. Like Franklin said in the video BlackRain just posted, Louie and Jerome were selling nickel bags before Franklin came along. Louie got greedy and started dealing with Teddy behind Franklin's back. The downfall started at that point.


Everybody in his family turned on him, even his lady dipped on him.
 
His paranoia made his lady dip, that was on Franklin.

I can't remember but wasn't Franklin and Teddy relationship over at that point when Franklin's was drugged and threatened to kill Teddy, that's why Teddy started fucking with Louie and Jerome

For a while i though his girl was a fed that would have been dope she was lookin real suspect to me


As for Franklin he was a poison peddler no matter how nigga rationalize his decisions he was a destroyer a cunning charismatic cat.. its funny how having these attributes catch people in a trap that they dont know they are in

Franklin could have played the backup role like his aunt and uncle did for years and money would still be coming in.

Franklin was going to get fucked whether Louie worked with Teddy or not. His money was getting stolen by Teddy regardless. The smart play was to let Louie be the boss while he stacked up his paper. His ego was his own downfall.

That's like stealing a nigga's money and telling him "hey man, you was just gonna waste it anyways. I put it towards some bills".
 
Not really stealing since Franklin lost the connect, Louie went and got it back in the family.

Look at it like this, Franklin fucked up and Louie cleaned up his mess.
