This shit bout to have me not go watch the movie. Mofo said horror and comedy. I thought this was an all out horror movie.
 
Just saw this. Bit of a slow burn. Telling the story from different perspectives was cool. I honestly dont know how I feel about the movie, lol. Maybe I missed it but I dont think they explained how she was gonna heal herself with the kids.
 
I liked how Cregger told this through interwoven chapters, editing was on point in this. A teacher, a principal, a father, a cop and a meth addict all connected to tell this story. Everyone is dealing with some shit (except the principal, I guess?) and it all comes to a head. There's some pretty gruesome scenes and that Gladys lady was fucking creepy and unsettling. Final 30 minutes of this was wild

This is essentially a movie about trauma and grief. There is no happy ending, everyone is still fucked after the events of the film

I did not understand Brolin's character dreaming about a giant assault weapon floating above a house. Is that his biggest fear of him losing his child in a school shooting instead of the way he did?

They didn't at all. Movie about to perform at the box office, critics and general audience are fucking with it. Peele better hope HIM isn't a misfire

Its gonna perform for sure. My theater was packed. People were still outside talking about it when we were going in.
Definitely going to see Him.
