Well that sucks since he’s one of the few perimeter defenders on this team but it’s August so it’s not all that bad for the season

But he can come back fine in October

I just realized that the Knicks didn’t even let Mike Brown pick out most of his staff. He literally has the same folks that Thibs had last season besides one person he just got to round out the bench.

They setting this man up for failure in my opinion. If they were gonna be like that with the new coach, they should’ve just promoted from within or kept Thibs.

Mike Brown picked most of his own staff. I think like 2-3 former assistants stayed. Rick Brunson got to stay but got demoted. Mike Brown brought in Brendan O'Connor to be top defensive coach. Knicks just announced Chris Jent to be head assistant coach. All decision made by Mike Brown. Took a while cause Mike Brown was trying to get Borrego.

It was confirmed Mike Brown was given total autonomy to build his staff.

I think in total so far only 3 people from Thibs' regime change remain and other then Rick Brunson they might go too.

Even keeping Rick was a Brown decision.
