My grandfather used to say you know what kind of neighborhood you're in by the grass. If there are yards with brown or no grass or a bunch dirt paths you're more then likely in the hood.

Naw, not those but similar. Those in a parking lot mall dont necessarily mean it is dangerous. Many malls in good areas have those.

I think you talking about the bulb color in normal streetlights. We have some in NC with the purple tint. I heard there was an issue with manufacturing light bulbs somewhere and a lot came out purple tinted and sold cheap. That’s why you see so many like that now.
