Yea there appear to be certain periods of the day where the app focuses on ad driven engagement.

And it will provide you something emotionally triggering, yet at least interesting. Then bombard you with it, before feeding you a series of well placed influencer driven ad content.

Like, planting a thought in your head but you don’t really notice cause you’re preoccupied. Didn’t do that as much before Congress got involved.

Those are the times to leave it alone.

Usually from 5 to 9 you get more of your kind of stuff. After 9 is nothing but videos designed to make you hate your support system and believe your spouse is cheating on you or taking you for granted

Once you know what it is, it’s easier to enjoy it. It’s like living in a dangerous city and knowing when to not go down a certain street or if you should

I tried to tell you its LEARNED behavior and we need to take accountability but nah they gonna do what they want to do right. Well thoughts and prayers to the parents who end up paying a hospital bill cause your kid sprained their neck and got a concussion doing the fucking the watermelon challenge.

My thing is, you can be a helicopter parent and your child will still do dumb shit. In that vid, the adults were in it so I have no sympathy.

I wont automatically blame parents in SOME situations. I was a kid and did things behind my parents back, even after they told me I shouldn't.

Outside influences like, friends, media, and environment, begins to play a bigger part in a kid's upbringing.

How do "we" take accountability for a stranger's child/children? Leave disapproval comments under their post?

By not allowing a strangers influence to have more impact than yours. You've accepted defeat before it even started. Damn shame.

Lol, how did i accept defeat? You make it seem raising kids is easy. When did I say I wouldnt be involved and wouldnt school them on what they should and shouldn't do. Monitor what they watch, listen to, and social media. There will definitely be protections and blocks on my internet . Can't control their access outside the home.

Am i supposed to be by their side when they are in school? The shit kids learn from other kids is where the issue comes. Unless you home school your child, you can't be around them 24/7. Even home schooling has some Cons to it. Many can't do it even if they wanted. Them home school kids be doing bad shit too, once they are given a little freedom.

People hope that their children follow their words and actions. It is ultimately the child's decision. The consequences will come if they choose wrong.

First day of school for kids was Wednesday. Today they are out of school. Now they wonder why Tennessee is Eastside High before Mr. Clark took it over 🤦‍♂️
