Are Taxes The Biggest Scam In America?

IMG_9673.gif

Both of them

Sales tax is ehh but then you gotta mess around and pay property tax in some states yearly on the same thing you’re already paying sales tax on example vehicles/boats etc

Insurance should be rather simple to deal w/ if you have it but noooope they make that shit a hassle and try to find anyway to lessen or deny coverage. Its one thing to want to have it but in the event you got use it man you’ll be pulling your hair out dealing with those people 9/10x.

Taxes aren't a scam imo

The misappropriation of them is wack af and the rich not paying their share is the issue

Insurance isn't a scam per se but the fact they fight you on paying the claims is foul af as well
Taxes are a scam because we’re taxed on too many things.

The same dollar we earn and spend is taxed into the ground

So your issue is with the things that are taxed and not taxes in general

I believe this proves my point brother

Both are a scam. You taxed for your income, house, car, any purchase, doctor bills, insurance, to drive on the street, to eat, water and damn near everything else except for air.

Naw.

You said the way they use/steal the tax money is the problem

I said it’s way too many taxes overall

To a certain extent:

Taxes are needed to fund several societal functions - education, services like police and fire/rescue, medical, city/county services like park restoration, defense, etc. The issue is that so much of the taxes get wrapped up in services the general public doesn't need (our defense budget is $950 billion as of last year, and more than threes time the next country - China), that makes taxes seems like you're being ripped off, and that your money is going towards shit that that isn't needed or wanted by the American public.

I wish that every year, people were allowed to choose what they want their taxes allocated to, and what could they leave out. I bet that would balance some shit out QUICK.

The problem is it’s too many taxes.

It’s that’s simple for me.

It’s absolutely no reason for 1 dollar earned to be taxed multiple times.

That's the nature of our country. You don't just live in the U.S. You live in a city, a county, a state, and the country as a whole and you use infrastructure that is provided by each one of those entities. In some cases, city, county, and state taxes are all rolled up into one but it's not really possible to do that with state and federal taxes. As for other shit like social security and medicare, some people see those and treat them like taxes, but they really aren't. At the end of the day, you're going to have to pay what you have to pay for the services offered to you. How what you pay is divided up shouldn't really matter much.

So again, the question is, what are you willing to give up if you don't want to pay those taxes?
