I think they've positioned themselves pretty well

If everything goes according to plan and Trae gets back to how he was playing 3 years ago than you can extend him and continue to build this team around him

If it doesnt work you can move on fairly easily......you have two nice pieces to build around in Jalen Johnson and Risacher.....guys like Alexander-Walker are on a good contract so you can trade him for value, move on from KP ect

I like how they've positioned themselves either way

I was just thinking the same thing, I would see how he performs, compare the numbers to his previous years and look at the team's success.

If not, I'll trade for some pieces and draft picks.

They honestly might not get back much from him....hes extention eligible right now and has a player option for like 47 mil next year....so he does have leverage in this situation too because all he as to do is say is hes not going to reup wherever they trade him to

Well, If I'm ATL and we are in the 6 to 8th spot come trade deadline, I'll be looking for an offer.

Trae not winning no Conference Championship anytime soon lol

I said Vando smh....I meant Mcdaniels....Wolves should play McDaniels more at the 4

You know what’s funny??????

Young has only had 1 season out of his 7 where he has been that efficient. Most would say if that was any other player that maybe that season is an anomaly..

I think the Hawks and Young, will be good (barring injuries) especially with all the injuries to a lot of last season’s top teams in the East. I thought the Hawks front office did well this offseason also.

I say this though about the Hawks doing well this season…….

Would this end up being a repeat of when they made the run to the conference finals? Would they lock up all their players and then find out that it was fools gold like they did after that run?

Sheesh yeah Trae never really matched that season 3 years ago

I don’t think he’s going to match that because his on ball reps/usage have been going down and he’s really focusing more on playmaking
