Usually there is a buzz about the champs all summer long until the season starts. Not any more. I really noticed it last year when Boston won. No buzz at all.
Nobody wanted Boston to win except Celtics fans so that took some of the buzz away. This year OKC was in the same boat, they became unlikable during the playoffs that everyone except Thunder fans wanted them to win. Maybe if next year a likable team wins the buzz may sustain.
Nobody is out doing what Toronto fans did 2019. Its over until the Knicks win it. Thats the only city capable. Sorry.
