I’m home for the weekend and the tv stand is coming along!!

I do need your opinions on something

I bought a soundbar for the new tv and I can use it in 2 different ways. Either put it on the center of the tv or on the sides of the stand like this:

If you talking about a "quality surround sound set up" you about to spend a grip. So getting a sound bar with a sub is a decent compromise

You just don't get actual surround sound that way. Simulated? Yeah, but true surround sound comes from multiple speakers.

Shit I do. I have 5.1 surround sound with a 12in sub. It shakes the house and leaves pictures crooked.

I have an all Polk 5.1 setup I pieced together, but only 3.1 is set up 'cause I'm lazy as shit. The 10" powered sub annoys my kids and the neighbors. The Monitor 60's do a good job with bass by themselves, but the sub takes it over the top, especially with movies. That low end make it feel and sound like a theater.

I played MC Breed's Ain't No Future In Yo Frontin' a few weeks ago. Shit was rattling everything. Kids came out PISSED 'cause it was too loud.
