Seeing everything so close was surreal
Can't lie
If Jamaica had a better football infrastructure a lot more of us would be on that stage
I know mad talented players that never got training the level of those players but the difference between skill isn't that far apart

Same issue with the British born Caribbeans and the yard man, everybody wants to be Messi. Skill and athleticism is one thing but following tactics and playing your role is another.

Also a lot of them get distracted by outside stuff away from football.

It’s a shame because even now there aren’t many top British Caribbean players.

As far as training infrastructure in Jamaica, they need to build an elite academy for top players, like France and other countries have done.
