That sucks. Part of the fun of going to islands like that is being able to chill in a place with a mostly black population with none of the bullshit that comes along with that here.

Yea man the times I went were prolly the most comfortable I ever felt while traveling in the Caribbeans calm laid back place w chill ppl …Once Drake started regularly posting up up there I knew the ppl would follow

Ion know about yall, but I can’t wait for football to return. Every new show on streaming is about Murder Investigation, Divorced Dads, or a group of straight and gay millennial friends.

And none of them do anything new or interesting.
 
I gave m nephew some wisdom yesterday. He had a period of being bad in school. I think it's the recent friends that's been an influence on him. I told him if he at least going to continue to be bad in school. At least be the first person to check the mailbox when you get home lol

I’ve scrolled Hulu, Amazon, and Netflix. Everything that I find that has potential. Either is in a foreign language, the production value is shit, or the actor choices are bad for the character.

Like, I’m trying to watch the show Grimm, and the main character and his wife just ain’t a fit. It throws off everything.

Resident Alien did a great job at production value, story, and cast. I see shit like that and be like, so these production companies know how to do it. I don’t get how they miss so hard in some of the other interesting shows.

But most of the sort by new shows are as I described. Murder mystery, investigative government coverup, assorted sex identity light hearted living in a metro city show, or divorced dad who’s miserable yet compassionately trying to find their way forward.

It's a great way to find gems of places to visit. Lesser known spots where you can get GREAT deals because they are lesser traveled spots

BUT

then here come the "influencers". Now everybody gotta go there, record the same content (e.g. same rooms, same on site restaurants, same activities, etc...)

Now when you finally decide to go, it's South Beach spring break and you're experience there is now tainted

At least this has been my personal experience
 
Man, where do yall be going when yall travel? If you are going to the beach, hate to break it to you but that is where 90% of people go. Locals and tourist. Stay at a place that has a private beach if that is what you really want to do.

Maybe venture outside of tourist areas.

You're not wrong but neither am I

You can go to a beach in an areas travel off season and it not be littered with people
