WWE Champion: John Cena
World Champion: Gunther
Money in the Bank: Seth Rollins

+ Drew McIntyre

They're missing KO and depending on what happens with Seth you might need to replace him too. But if he's healthy their top 4 heels are plenty considering they got all the belts. Keep bringing Bron up and they're pretty much set.

Cena is not a believable heel and he’s getting CHEERED. That’s ontop of the title reign being cheeks

Seth is a heel who is still getting cheered as is Bron. Drew is on timeout so until otherwise so Again the only true heel in the main event scene is Gunther

Seth Rollins is hosting The Rich Eisen Show today and discussed his knee injury, commenting:

" You can see myself on the monitor right here. I look great, I'm not gonna lie. But underneath this monitor I do have a leg brace. On over in the corner are my crutches. This past Saturday I was in a match on Saturday Night's Main Event, a special on NBC, on Peacock. I was in a match with LA Knight and I hurt my knee. I was doing a move that I do all the time. It's a moonsault, a back flip. In this particular instance, I was landing not on my belly, but I was landing on my feet when I landed. I felt my knee pop and buckle the, we, we got outta the match and we moved forward. Monday I was in Birmingham, Alabama, where our specialists are at. We tried to take a look at the knee through some imaging. It was a little too swollen, so we're gonna take another look, hopefully in a week or two here in LA to try to get something....some sort of firm diagnosis and then we can go from there. I am not a doctor. I only know my body and what I feel and what I feel is that this is gonna be me out for an extended period of time. We were talking off air earlier. Huge .huge bummer. And it is a bummer. But look, it is what it is. Our business moves on. This isn't the first time that I've been injured. It won't be the last time. And I, I've al I've always just got WrestleMania in the back of my mind. I'm like, can I make it back for WrestleMania season, for the whole thing? And so that, that's, my brain always goes there, and I feel good about that, but beyond a firm timeline, I just won't know until we get a better answer on the MRI. So that's where it's at."

I kinda aint been feeling Gunthers chicken heel run. Somebody posted a video of him backing down or takes Ls in segments constantly the past 3 months. That aint the WALTER I know..

WWE doesn't really have any bad ass heels outside Bron who is currently growing.

I didn’t even press play on it but off the title alone they’re right. And idk how anyone can dispute the fact WWE put their C effort against ALL IN
It's this idea of "against" though. The only show that was directly against All In was NXT.

That AEW decided to run a 6 hour show so that it ran against SNME is their own doing. Evolution being on a different day entirely to me is a non-factor.

Framing it as some kind of showdown to me just doesn't ring true. WWE has been putting out this amount of content the whole summer. And really with the expansion of content (Evolve, LFG, TNA, AAA) in general, there just isn't gonna be a time where there isn't something WWE-related on air. They pumping stuff out pretty much every day at this point.

Been sayin this for a minute.

It’s Gunther and that’s it lol

When Vince was around he couldn’t make a babyface the audience cared about to save his life.

Now Hunter can’t make a heel to save his life, Gunther aside. And that’s even more preposterous cause HHH was thee top heel forever lol

Maybe if he didn’t have Drew wasting time running round with fkn logan Paul he’d have 2 solid top heels

Ethan need to be brought up but booked the same way that he has been on NXT cus hes a great fucking heel and not one that I want to cheer

He's one who im always wanting to see get his ass beat

No doubt brother

But about five years earlier, there were also rumblings of a reunion between Punk and the company he walked out of in 2014. It seemed those might have just been about Punk’s run as a panelist on the short-lived WWE Backstage studio show FOX produced for FS1. But during a visit to chat with Barstool Sports’ Robbie Fox on his My Mom’s Basement podcast, Punk shared that he did meet with Vince McMahon and Triple H before taking the FOX gig.

“I think the Twitter and the internet perception is I tried to go back to WWE and they didn’t want me, so I did the FOX show. That’s not what happened at all.
“I had a hilarious clandestine meeting in the Borgata in Atlantic City with Vince [McMahon] and Triple H… I don’t even know. What is it, 2025 now? This had to be 2018 or 2019. It started because Vince just started calling me. I had agents telling me, ‘Hey, they want to talk to you.’ And I was like, ‘Whatever, I’m not interested.’ Then Vince just started calling me directly. He was like, ‘Hey, I’m eliminating the middleman. We gotta…’ and I was just like, ‘This is insane’...
“We had a meeting. We had a handshake agreement…and then he ghosted me.
“So, that’s why it didn’t happen. Unbelievable. I’m gonna write a book someday… It’s a great story. It’s a fantastic story.”
Punk says he actually was open to returning at that point, but seems like only for one reason:

“I was very much just like, ‘Yeah, okay. Pay me’, whatever. I took some stuff personally. Like, years have gone by. Alright, I’m over it, recognized that it’s a business. You don’t want me to take it personally? Just pay me.”
While that meeting didn’t immediately lead to Punk’s WWE return, it may have been instrumental in it happening years down the road:

“That was probably the first time that me and Triple H started chipping away at any problems or drama that we had in the past. That was the first instance.”
