This is a good drop... I'm always intrigued about these stories of artists getting all their royalties taken for using a sample... I made a similar thread on it using Bittersweet Symphony as an example but I'm thinking about making a spin-off based on stories like these... off the top of the head, I know "Gangsta's Paradise" and Fabolous's "Breathe" had similar things happen...

Lol at Mark Morrison's wiki... dude has a rap sheet that rivals DMX... I think I remember dude got banned from performing for constantly exposing himself during shows...

I can explain what happened to Nice and Smooth; Their lyrics didn't make any sense which made them impossible to listen to.

The first line of the song you posted is, "Dizzy Gillespie played the sax..." which is wrong, Dizzy Gillespie played the trumpet.

This is the verse that sparked a Jay-Z quote/borrowed line and then sparked T.I.'s "Bring'em Out". I still have this album btw.
