I didn’t see the triple down coming. I thought he’d figure out a way to create some files that might placate his base, or at least give them an plausible out.

From what I’ve heard he said nothing is there as a way to get Maxwell a new trial so she can get out. I wonder if she threatened to expose him and this was his way of wiggling out of it.
