I think the dude pulling all the string is S. Miller. He’s a real life devil.

It's not nebulous, and I don't have to tell you what "the establishment means to me" because its established (no pun intended) political parlance and already has an accepted definition.

It's not that hard to understand. Hillary was a democratic establishment darling. The party leaders, DNC, donors, and news outlets all threw their support behind her in the primary against Bernie. He was not part of the establishment and thus he didn't get that kind of support. The same thing happened to Bernie against Biden. The democratic establishment is the reason Biden didn't get a real primary last year. The power structure actually worked together and basically cheated (e.g., not putting his opponents on ballots or not holding elections in several states) so that no one else could offer a true challenge.
To me, This speak to his point a bit about the “establishment narrative fixing the primaries etc.

Barack being the prime example. While yes, Hilary was the party pick and had the weight behind her in the beginning and through alot of the primary cycles, it came down to voters that put Barack on top.

There are parallels between Bernie and Barack is that they weren’t the establishment picks.

Except one captured the voters and forced his way in compared to the other

A lot of people fell for Barack and his campaign which is what created such a strong distaste and distrust of the Dem establishment moving forward.

Some of that even helped trump win.

Huh? Obama absolutely was an establishment pick. So much so that there were conspiracies while he was running that he was groomed to be president. I won't say that the power structure cared much whether he or Hillary won when they went to head-to-head in the primary, but he absolutely wasn't someone the establishment felt the need to side against like they did with Bernie or, more recently, with Mamdani.
