A'Ja was on the cover for this season of NBA2K and she has slowly gotten more national exposure with Lays potato chips, Nike, Car max, etc.... she is my favorite player and in my opinion the best player in the league.

You are correct though, it's a ton of players who are so good that is in the league and coming down the pipe from the NCAA or abroad. I think the league is on the verge of being very popular sooner than later

I'm stating that a lot of this is media noise to help them have something to cover because they don't really want to cover the league and all the talent in it. The way they are covering this league is similar to damn day time soaps. LMAO. the only time you get a lot of main stream coverage is when it is drama, real or not. some of these media personalities are trying to assist in stoking the rivalry/drama also.

if you followed the WNBA a little bit before Clark and Reese were drafted, you would know it's super physical, but the media members who didn't made the physical nature of the game out to be something else when Clark was drafted. If you followed the league before she was drafted, you would know that veteran players have been tough on rookies, but when Clark got drafted the media members stated this was something new and because of Clark........ even the example I gave above about media members who barely covered the sport before Clark having fake outrage because the players ranked her the 9th best guard this season so far. They obviously haven't been watching because she hasn't been great and barely played....

all this shit is the easiest way for lazy fuckers to cover and sell this sport to casuals and the casuals are eating this stuff up

I agree with you. A couple of the fouls they covered on CC were legit good shit, but most of those fouls they were whining about were just good old school bball fouls. To be fair though, you can say the same thing about that foul that CC put on Reese. They made ado out of that too.

All that said, not all the coverage is bullshit. They do give breakdowns on the games nowadays. They didn't really do that before, so that's progress.

Maybe I wasn't clear. That woman is mixed, much, much closer to white than black. Saying that she has two black parents, while perhaps technically right (according to the one-drop rule), is misleading.

I can't guarantee it, but the overwhelming likelihood is that she has about 10-20% black ancestry.

So what do you have a problem with what I'm saying?

My moms side of the family is a bunch of lite-brites. We've traced the family back to the great-great grands, but still haven't found the white yet. However, I've seen pics of white folks from TX with the family name and some of them muhfuckas look like white versions of my fam. We know it's there, we just don't know exactly where it is.

I explicitly said that I can't guarantee that she is less than 20% black. However, it is statistically improbably that she has a high % of black ancestry. Are you saying that it is likely that her percentage is much higher than that?

PS. I was schooled in my island in the Caribbean.
