Has Generation Z Produced Anybody Great At Anything?

Going from a limited number of outlets to a few more isn't the same as people now each having their own personal outlet. That shift in attention from Gen X to Millinials to Gen Z isn't the same at all. There's a huge difference in how you grew up consuming things vs how the current generation does. Just look at how quickly even successful movies go from being in theaters to home streaming services or how many big budget films are streaming only. It's a bigger difference than you may realize

Let's keep it a buck: That only happened because of the pandemic. It HAD to happen. Nobody was going to theaters so "quick to streaming" became the norm.

Streaming services were on the uptick pre covid and movies were already going to streaming alot quicker from theaters.

It still happened and it's affecting things. Also that doesn't negate the overall point that in all aspects of things the way people take in stuff has changed alot. You're talking going from a few channels to a few more isn't the same as every person potentially having personal access to a platform that can gain them millions of fans.

Going from 3-4 channels to literal hundreds ain't just "a few more" and you know it. On top of that TV went from ending broadcasts late at night to operating 24/7 so not only was there more options there was more time to view those options.

Whether you want to acknowledge it or not, the shift tremendous for us back then.

Maybe Lamar.... But all of them are stars in their respective lanes, but the average person could walk by all these people and not recognize them.

They're stars not superstars

Simone Biles is not a superstar? How she ain’t? Accolades and fame and whenever she does something it trends.

Luka also a superstar. Plus a good white basketball players stands out.

If you showed 50 people over the age of 50 a pic of Kai cenat how many do you think would know him?

Nigga I made a thread about this nigga a few months ago and nobody ON HERE knew who he was 😂😂😂

I didn't say it wasn't tremendous. You said the shift your generation experienced was the same as Gen Z and I'm saying theirs was greater. They were born and raised in a time where having a personal computer in your pocket or on your wrist is a normal thing. They came of age during a time where instead of just speaking to your friends in your neighborhood you could instantly broadcast a message to the entire world. That's different than cable tv coming along and music videos.
