Man listen, if this the shit we getting from Drake on his new album and beyond, then cool but I don't see him being the top artist after this. This new track ain't it and it's average at best for any top/seasoned artist's calibre.

But it is what it is, and that's okay because 15 years dominance is a helluva bar to set and nobody can take that away from Drake.

For now, impressive run!

I don’t get the 15 years number. Drake ain’t been dominant for 15 years. Kanye was a bigger rapper than him until at least 2015. Drake ain’t catch a number 1 until 2016. The run is 9 years, 10 at best. Still incredible.

This new shit is ass. He needs more “Nokia” type joints to wash the stink off him.

From 1998 to 2008, artists like DMX, Eminem, 50 Cent and Nelly were the chart toppers of hip-hop.

However, sales aside, we all knew Jay-Z was that guy.

His presence, influence, and ability to shift and steer the culture was unmatched. And he was selling, just not as high as his counterparts.

50 did a bit of that but couldn't for too long. Jay-Z did it for 10 years.

Drake did it for 15 years. Hate it or love it, he's him 🤷🏿‍♂️
