Two things annoyed me on the pod today. Both things have to do with them gaslighting as if we all have shit memory.
1.) The Trump talk. I remember last summer and fall vividly. Every single one of the guys, except Parks, were speaking as if there were actually areas of reasonable comparison between Kamala & Trump. They have a large and impressionable audience and the both side-ification of it all throughout media bore consequences.
But to be fair despite the discourse, the context made it clear they were likely voting Kamala. However, that same context also made it obvious that the admitted Trump voter was Flip.
2.) The Puff shit. They all slammed and heavily denounced Puff after the Cassie video leaked. Makes sense because the DV was terrible enough on its own merit… but that was clearly only because they forecasted him being dead and buried career wise.
I’ve taken clear notice that—with the exception of Marc, Mel & Parks—they’ve gotten looser on their stances as the trial progressed and it became more possible that Puff wouldn’t get the harshest of penalties. Culminating into Joe today half jokingly saying he’d pick the nigga up from the precinct.
Niggas lose their morals in a heartbeat for possible proximity to power. Literally what Kendrick’s Watch the Party Die track was about last year. Shit is nasty.
