My grievance has nothing to do with Riri, the plot or the side characters.


I just really fucking hate The Hood and think he lame as hell as an anti hero.

We got the fucking Hood before Ghost Rider, Mephisto, Blade, Black Knight or a complete Man-Thing origin.
 
I think the hood is cool.... But the brother who died was the MUCH better actor and was a better villain before getting killed of.... Reminds me of how cotton mouth was more charismatic and a better villain than black Mariah in Luke Cage

In the first 30 seconds, that "Thor and his hammer" comment. Wow

They let you know off the rip that this might be a black show but we're going establish the BEDWENCH energy that you see in all TV and movies immediately. Disgusting

Shame on my oakland nigga Coogler. That's the little compromise he has to make. I'm sure the series will have plenty more

Then that flaming Queen came on screen, that's when I had to turn it off and find something else to watch

I see what you mean, but I focus on all these black people getting roles and working. You can’t let that be overshadowed by one reference to Thor’s hammer (pause) and a gay dude. Don’t let perfection be the enemy of progress.
 
Decent first 3 episodes. I’m still confused how the hell the AI is a copy of her friend. Did I see that right that she hooked herself up to the machine to create the AI? Maybe it’s her memories of her friend that created the AI?

I don’t mind the Hood. Dude is a good actor so we’ll probably get more from the character as we go. Ri-Ri and Natalie are playing off of each other well, each actress is doing good.

Let’s see how the rest of the season goes.

I had forgotten about that. I thought she would eventually decide to move from that AI because I thought Natalie showing up as her AI was their way of saying that Riri really hasn't taken the time to process her grief over her best friend and her stepfather dying
 
So how do you tell the real critiques from the review bombs? I assume anything reviewed before last night is probably fake unless it's from someone that gets content before release
