So beta, it appears the injury is the reason for the blow up

Tell me why they wouldn't just wait for Tatum to get healthy while they swap places with Orlando in the eastern hierarchy next season?
Nah the injury isn’t the reason for the blow up but the injury is the reason why teams are trying to see about brown and white

If you’re asking assuming Celtics are going to blow it up, they wouldn’t wait because Tatum isn’t going to play until the 2026/2027 season

At that point Horford is gone, Derrick white is about 33, Jaylen brown is turning 31 and would have less value MAYBE than he has now (actually how he plays during tatum’s absence could affect his value)

They also might have a new coach by then

There’s no guarantee the Celtics are still going to be a top 3 team by then

The league moves so fast

You can stomach being a second apron team if you're one of the favorites to win a championship

Being an expensive ass team when you have no chance makes zero sense

If Tatum doesnt get hurt they probably run this team back for 2 more years

Perfect description of my Wizards right now pre-draft.

Wizards are doing exactly what they're supposed to be doing as a rebuilding team

Taking on bad money and building up the asset base

104 mil in cap space next season

CJ, Kelly Olynk, Middleton and Marcus Smart are all expiring

Next summer everyone will still be on rookie scale deals except Kispert.....Washington is going to have a ton of cap space

They really are just Sarr developing into a star 🤩 away

It’ll be cool to be a wizards fan in 1 more year

Golden State fucked up not agreeing to a deal with him last summer, even if they don't like him he could've been salary filler in a trade like Houston used Jalen Green

We don't want no damn Jalen Green.

Kuminga gonna re-up and we gonna keep him due to BYC. Ain't no purpose in trading him on a rookie deal, and sign and trading him for 50% won't work unless we aggregate salary. He better fire up those Harrison Barnes tapes and learn how to play off-ball.
