WWE Night of Champions 🇸🇦 (6/28/25)

It was reported today that Saudi Arabia has shut down airspace to civilian flights due to the ongoing situation involving Iran, Israel and The United States.

This has led to rumors that WWE staff are stranded in Qatar and not able to get to Saudi Arabia, therefore WWE cannot set up for Night of Champions.

Here is the actual reality:

*WWE staffers have been in Saudi since the week of 6/9.

*Additional production staff have been arriving regularly since that time and setup has been underway for at least a week.

*That said, there are five WWE staffers currently stuck in Qatar at Dohar Airport. PWInsider.com is told they were waiting for a connecting flight to Saudi Arabia after landing in Qatar.

WWE has not commented on the status of the event. We are told that as of today, setup has continued as per schedule
 
Orton should win and fight Cena at SummerSlam. It'll be a better storyline and promos. I don't wanna see a Cena vs Rhodes Wrestlemania 2.0

If possible, Drew McIntyre should come back to fight Cody Rhodes at SummSlam

Absolutely not lol. Personally I think WWE throwing away money by giving away Cody vs both Jey and Orton for the sake of the KOTR tournament… but naw Cody needs to win. Orton shouldn’t even be in this spot tho.
 
I am like 60% on Dom being the only nigga with the cojones to tell these niggas he wasn’t flyin over there so they canceled the match

As subpar as Cody vs Cena was everyone knows the rematch is where we headed. We just had Cena vs Orton and frankly that wasn’t too much better. Most likely we getting a stipulation added to Cena/Cody 2 so it should help. Plus… it’s pretty clear Seth cashing in on Cody so we most likely ain’t getting another long Cody reign.

Randy gonna get his eventually just not right now.

The build up for that match backlash was weak as hell....Cena had to have his 1st title match....with Cody we already know what he's gonna "talk about" and Cena will just do another pipe bomb segment but if randy wins KOR they'll have more time to create better buildup to summerslam

Summerslam two nights this year. The money is in the Cena/Cody rematch.

but you want Orton and Cena. 2 who both phone it in for a check now. id rather have Cody v Cena 2 tbh if that's the options. I'll be honest I dont see Cena losing at SS either
