Should AJ Johnson, Poole and to a lesser extent Carrington impact if the wizards should be trying to get fears?

I think now that I actually wrote this I kinda know the answer

I just like AJ man

I’m taking BPA regardless of position almost every time. I like Bub as a starter the other two I’m on the fence with. AJ showed flashes

I feel like the talent gap is so slim you can get away with a Carter Bryant or knueppel hell even coward and Queen over fears

Take the best player available like @A.F.R.I.C.A stated. especially for a team like the Wizards. they are and should be in talent acquisition mode, not worrying too much about fit because they have a ways to go roster wise overall.

I hope the Spurs just draft Harper and not get too cute with the #2 pick. I kinda hope they use the 14th pick, unless they get a crazy offer for it. We need good talent badly on this squad. a good portion of these guys on our roster wouldn't get much run on other teams.

Washington is so far away but they're on the right path and the front office is making good moves

Keep taking on bad money, tank, have a great scouting department

The thing with Fears is he's going to be bad his first few years no matter where he goes....Wizards can give him the runway while having some defensive insulation for him

Impossible for Fears to be BPA at 6 though so the Wizards shouldn't even have him on their board

I'm not high on Bub.

But the Wizards fans are already going to war against picking Fears.

One even said that he might be another Johnny Davis.

I understand BPA and everything but as I said there’s a myriad of players I think the wizards can take at 6 so I don’t feel like they would be “missing out” on fears

But I wish I had a full season of AJ starting for the wiz to judge
